Our stories

Why do we do our work? Look at the faces of these kids, you'll understand. We want to share with you some stories of our little heroes.

Maxim is a future football player. That's for sure. When other boys play football, he dreamily watches every move and can't take his eyes off. Dreamily, because Maxim is unable to walk, although he is 12 years old. The boy had organic lesion of the central nervous system and cerebral palsy almost from birth. First six months the baby was developing as all children. At 7.5 months he was taken to the intensive care due to high fever, later he slid into a coma. The result – multiple disorders of the musculoskeletal system and cognitive functions.

The doctors say he is physically ready to walk. It is hard for him to believe in his abilities.

He moves in a walker or holding onto a support. But it is already a great achievement. It became possible due to the rehabilitation courses, which are attended by the boy several times a year. The average cost of rehabilitation for a patient with cerebral palsy is 75 500 rubles. Annually the child requires 3-4 courses, depending on the condition.

Now Maxim says only simple phrases and words, but he visits a speech therapist. The boy is in a correctional school of the VIII type. He is visited by his favorite teacher at home. They repeat creative, educational exercises. The stubborn nature of the boy is combined with kindness and sociability. Maxim dreams of a career of the athlete, loves to eat sweets and befriends exclusively beautiful girls.

His mom Julia shares her thoughts: "My goal is to cure my son, make him completely healthy. Your support with the support of the family help us a lot, we believe that Maxim will be fine." Maxim can achieve even more, according to the predictions of the doctors. They say he will be able to walk, talk and live an independent life. The main thing is to continue rehabilitation and not to stop.
